Cheviot Hills is located to the west of Rancho Park, north of Century City and Westwood, and east of Beverly Hills. Cheviot Hills is composed of the Country Club Highlands, Cheviot Hills, and Monte Mar Vista, which were all developments in the 1920?s. Cheviot Hills name is derived from a contest, in which a Scottish man won. Alongside choosing the name the man also chose to give the streets Scotch names.
Attractions
Rancho Park and Hillcrest Country Club are two golf courses that surround Cheviot Hills. A large public park and Beverly Hills Country Club are also in near range. As for shopping, Cheviot Hills is in between Westfield Century City Mall and the Westside Pavilion.
School
Cheviot Hills is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Public schools offered in the area are Castle Heights Elementary School and Overland Avenue Elementary School (depending on location), as well as Palms Middle School, and Hamilton High School.
